How do I register for the Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals online?

Go to the "register" button and choose your city or the "Torch Relay Anywhere" option. You will be guided through the registration process. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt.

Do I need to join a team to register?

Not at all. While there is an option to start a team or join a team if you would like to get your friends, family and co-workers together, many participants join as individuals.

The website does not list the location for my event. When will this info be available?

Because the details for local events can sometimes change due to circumstances beyond our control, not all of the event locations can be posted in advance. However, the specific location for each city will be posted no later than 45-days prior to the event. You will also receive an email confirmation to confirm your specific meeting time and location at least two weeks in advance.

Is my information secure? ​

Yes. Every effort is made to protect your information. We use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. We have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so that your data is securely stored.


Donations & Website

Can friends and family make a donation to a Participant by going through the main website?

Yes. On the home page of the website for the participant's city, friends and family can locate a Participant by clicking on "Fundraiser Search". By typing in the name of the Participant, they will be directed to the Participant's personalized fundraising page.

How can I see who has donated to me?

Go to the Log-in section on the site. Use the Username and Password that you created when you registered for the event. You can then view your Donor list and the amounts that have been donated.

I forgot my Username and Password. How can I find out what they are?

Remember that your username and password are case sensitive. Click the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the Login In window. You will receive an email with your username and password.

 

Event

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are permitted outdoors (unless a specific city ordinance prohibits animals), but must be kept on a leash at all times.

How much money do I need to raise in order to participate?

We ask that all participants raise at least $50 to help support their local CMN Hospital.

I have a disability, am I still able to participate?

It is a policy of The Torch Relay to make reasonable accommodations whenever necessary for all volunteers and participants with disabilities.

 

General Questions

Since The Torch Relay for CMN Hospitals is a national event, how are the funds distributed to the local hospital?

All funds raised are tracked to the individual participant and distributed at the conclusion of The Torch Relay to the individual participant's local CMNH Hospital.

How do I find information about my Children’s Miracle Network Hospital?

Are there any participant fundraising incentives?

Participants who raise $50 or more will receive a Torch Relay t-shirt and medal as a thank you for participating. Participants who raise $5,000 or more will be invited to join the Torchbearer Club and attend the Torchbearer Weekend, which annually honors our top fundraisers.

What is your privacy policy?

The Torch Relay for CMN Hospitals will not share any of your personal information or any of your donor's information with any organization, individual or company.
